France was only allowed to only keep two islands in the Gulf of St. Lawrence and it's prosperous surger growing islands in the west indies.Spain, which had entered the war on the French side in 1762 had gave up florida for Britian.
In return Spain rceived all french land west of the Mississippi.Spain Retain controll of it's vast empire
in Central America and South America.
